Welcome to the web site of the Basingstoke Air Scout Group. Who are we? The Group is part of the Basingstoke East Scout District, which is part of the Hampshire Scout County. We consist of 3 of the sections of the UK Scout Movement these being,
Once a Scout reaches the age of 14.5 they will move onto one of the 2 District Explorer Groups. What has Scouting got to offer? Scouting offers challenge and adventure to 400,000 young people and 100,000 adults across the UK. We believe in helping our Members fulfil their potential by working in teams, learning by doing and thinking for themselves. We give people of every background the chance to stretch themselves, learn new skills and make life long friends. The good news it's not just for the children, Everyone including parents can get involved. However much or little time you have available Scouting can find a place for you. Many Leaders are parents who started out by helping during sessions now and again but got hooked on the fun and adventure fo Scouting and wanted to do more And in the words of our Chief Scout, Bear Grylls,
