Welcome to the web site of the Basingstoke Air Scout Group. We are a small part of the 28 millon people that make up the largest youth organisation in the World

The Group is part of the Basingstoke East Scout District, which is part of the Hampshire Scout County. We consist of 3 of the sections of the UK Scout Movement these being Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, Once a Scout reaches the age of 14.5 they will move onto one of the 2 District Explorer Groups.

September 2009

All sections have now returned after the Summer Break and are looking forward to another fun filled term of activities, Challenge and Adventure that is Scouting.

Activities that are comming up over the term accross the sections include

  • Cubs are visiting the Railway Station at the end of September
  • In October Cubs and Beavers are having a visit from the Basingstoke Astronomy Club and hope to do some star gazing
  • In October the Scouts will be taking part in Jamboree on the Internet (Joti)
  • Cubs and Beavers are having a Fireworks part in November
  • Cubs are going to see the Lion, Witch and Wardrobe at the Haymarket thearte in December

Beavers
Tuesday Afternoon 17:30 - 18:45 in the Large Hall

Cubs
Tuesday Evenings 18:30 - 20:00 Starting in the Small Hall and finishing in the Large Hall

Scouts
Friday Evenings 19:00 - 21:00 in the Large Hall
