Activity Badges

There are also a large number of activity badges that you an earn during your time has a Cub both by yourself or has a Pack, these include badges like the

  • Home Help
  • Collectors
  • Skater
  • Camper

Staged Badges

Staged Nights AwayStaged Emgercey Aid

As well as the normal types of Activity badges there are what are called Staged Badges, where you can earn the next stage once you have completed the requirements. The staged Badges are

  • Nights Away
  • Emgerency Aid
  • Hikes Away
  • Information Technology
  • Musician
  • Swimmers

Some of the badges just require you to complete a cerine number of activities to gain the next stage, like the Nights Away while others like the swimmers expect you to reach a cerine standard befor the next badge is issued. Partnership Awards

As well as all the badges mentioned above which make up part of the program there is also the opportunity to earn Partnership Awards. There are 3 of these

  • International Freindship
  • Enviromental
  • Faith

These awards are earnt when one or more of the other sections in the Group work togeather to undertake the requirements. For more information on these awards follow this link - Group Awards

Participation Awards

These badges are awarded to celebrate a young person's commitment to Scouting and for taking an active part in the Programme. If the young person has already been a Member, the badges will continue from the previous Sections. For those Scouts who have been a Beaver Scout or Cub Scout, you will need to liaise with their Leaders to check the date of the last award. The Participation Badges are numbered. You can award a Participation Badge every twelve months from the time the Scout joins your Troop, up to a maximum of four badges
